To the Giedja --- I regret leaving this message so many years later.
Big Frank was among the finest men I've ever met, and a legendary figure among thousands of Plainfield student athletes spanning five decades. I am honored to have known him.

As the parents of Big Frank's youngest grandchild, he would drive (at 85 years young) over to the house almost daily to see Michael. Upon leaving we would wave good-bye. Fifteen minutes later ... we'd look out and Pop Pop was still turning around in the driveway! So ... if you think Big Frank is gone ... he's probably just turning around in the driveway. We love you Pop Pop and miss you deeply already.

there are those who are born with a great capacity to share their life with others, those who choose the company of children, who do not seek great wealth but who help others without limit; those are people who live forever in the hearts of the lives they have touched.
my dear godfather, you touched my life and I thank you.
to your children and immediate family, I send my deepest sympathy.
with love, your goddaughter,
Carole
