Obituary of Joseph A. Reilly

Joseph A. Reilly age 80, died on Sunday, October 5th, 2008 at JFK Hartwyck at Edison Estates Nursing Convalescent & Rehab. in Edison. Born Perth Amboy he resided in Plainfield for over forty years. Joseph worked for the United States Post Office as a Postal Clerk in Perth Amboy for thirty years before retiring. He was in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a Communicant of St. Josephs R.C. Church in North Plainfield, and a member of the San Salvador Club, the Hibernia Club and the Knights of Columbus in Perth Amboy. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid reader and loved doing crossword puzzles. Surviving is his wife Patricia A. (McCreesh) Reilly; his son Donald of Plainfield; his daughter Kelly Faircloth and her husband John of Warrington, VA.; two grandchildren Gehrig and Shannon Faircloth. The funeral will be held on Thursday, October 9th, at 9:00 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Josephs R.C. Church, North Plainfield. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
