Obituary of Edna Mary Doody

Edna Mary Doody, died Sunday October 26, 2008 at Easton Hospital. Mrs. Doody was a life long resident of Warren before moving to Easton one year ago. She was a very social person with a fantastic sense of humor. Mrs. Doody was a member of the Warren Seniors where she enjoyed line dancing. She also enjoyed gardening and knitting. She is predeceased by her husband Lawrence P. Doody in 1986. Surviving are one son, Lawrence Doody and his wife Anne of Easton, PA; three daughters, Marilyn Chrysafis and her husband Richard of Flemington, Diane Head and her husband Gilbert of Blue Ridge, GA, and Doreen F. Alturkmani and her husband Aymen of Las Vegas, NV; Two sisters, Alice Freiday of Warren and Doris Reagan and her husband Ken of Warren; one sister-in-law, Barbara Lauer of Piscataway; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ 07069. Interment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
