Obituary of Daniel S. Del Nero

Daniel S. Del Nero, died Friday, October 24, 2008 at Delaire Nursing & Convalescent Center in Linden. Mr. Del Nero was born in Plainfield, raised in Scotch Plains and resided in Watchung for the past 25 years. He attended the Juilliard School of Music and was a professional piano player. He was also an avid golfer and most importantly enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Del Nero is Predeceased by his Ex-wife Candice Del Nero. Surviving are his four children, Pamela Aguilar and her husband Jose of Watchung, Brenda C. Thompson of Scotch Plains, Debra Fela of Basking Ridge and Robert Thompson and his wife Jeanette of Sedona, AZ; five grandchildren, Dana and Derek Aguilar of Watchung, Daniel Irovando of Liverpool, NY, Kimberly Fela of Scotch Plains, and Shannon Fela of Basking Ridge; two great-grandchildren, Danny and Tiffani Irovando; one brother Rudy Del Nero; one sister Irene Carlin; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 12:00pm at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ 07069, followed by an interment at St. Marys Stony Hill Cemetery in Watchung. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00am to 12:00pm prior to the service.
