To the Schwetz family...
Mr. Schwetz was one of our most delightful patrons, arriving always with a smile on his face. We loved to chat with him on the way in and while checking out his many books.
He loved to read and also to discuss the soups he made, especially chicken soup, even leaving a sample for us to enjoy.
We will miss him.

I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing and didn't see it until tonight (10-30). I knew Mike for many years and he was truly an unforgettable character. My Mom, Mary Stanton who passed away in 2001, is the reason I knew Mike. He taught me how to dive at his pool, and our family has many fond memories of picnics and gatherings with Mike. He was a wonderful man who touched our lives. I will never forget him.

Jersey corn and tomatoes, how I miss them....living in Florida....growing up in Warren, first freshman class at Watchung Hills Regional High....Dad's fatherly "dismay" at my first high school prom dress and remembger those clear plastic high heels??? He really had a fit and didn't want us to watch Elvis on the Ed Sullivan Show....back in those days that was risque!!! and of course we had one of the first television sets (RCA)... Pokey mowing the lawn, barbecuing, mashing the potatoes at Thanksgtiving dinners....Right now I am crying and remembering the good times, and our hearts will be with all of you at the funeral services.... xdaxb
