Obituary of June Marie Wildman

June Marie Wildman passed away Thursday Morning, May 2nd, 2013 surrounded by family after a brief illness in Somerset Medical Center. June was born in East Orange New Jersey to Frank Provost and Mildred (Fries). She moved to Colonia NJ in 1956 and then to Martinsville NJ in 1973. June was a devoted mother and wife in every respect. She was active in the PTO and their bowling league. In recent years she effectively managed the Alison Marie Wildman Foundation in honor of her daughter Alison, a victim of the September 11th attack. She ardently supported the Somerset County Sheriff's K-9 unit to offset their expenses. June was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament in Martinsville. June worked at Western Electric for many years and later as an interior decorator. She especially enjoyed vacationing in the US and Europe with her family. June is survived by her loving husband Arthur of 46 years, loving mother to five children: Richard Borquist and wife Madeline, Jill Saladino and husband Joseph, Robert Wildman and wife Wendy. June was pre-deceased by her son Arthur III and daughter Alison. June was blessed with seven grandchildren, Joseph, Marijean, Erin, Erika, Christopher, Robert and Jenna and two great-grandchildren, Alison and Anthony. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, May 7th at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Monday, May 6th from 2- 4 & 7-9 p.m. To send condolences, please go to www.higginsfuneralhome.com.
