Obituary of Kenneth S. Roe

Kenneth S. Roe passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at age 62. He was born in Somerset Hospital, the son of James and Lillian Roe. He was a resident of North Plainfield for the past 40 years. Kenneth served in the U.S. Air Force from 1968 to 1972. He was predeceased by his brother, James Roe in 1986. Surviving are his wife, Leslie Delgyer Roe; their son, James F. Roe; his brother, Robert Roe and his wife Allyson; their children, Hannah, William and Nathaniel; his parents, James and Lillian Roe; his deceased brother Jim's wife, Sharon and their children, Jenna and Lynette; his brother-in-laws, Frederick Delgyer, Carl Delgyer, Theodore Delgyer and his father-in-law, Frederick Delgyer. Ken followed in his father's footsteps and enjoyed working for N. J. Bell till his retirement from Verizon. He loved playing golf. He worked at Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster and was able to play a dream course. After retirement he worked at Lexus of Bridgewater. The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17th at 11:00 a.m. in the Higgins Funeral Home, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plainfield.
