Obituary of Carolyn J. Grayer

Carolyn Grayer, 66, passed away on Tuesday November 18, 2008 at The Regency Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Somerset. She was born in Rocky Mount, NC to Bud Petaway and Effie Arrington and had resided in Plainfield for the past 46 years. Prior to her retirement Mrs. Grayer worked as a private-duty nurse. She is a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Grayer was an excellent cook and enjoyed sharing her food with everyone. She also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and color by numbers. She is survived by a daughter Wanda Grayer; three sons Robert Grayer, James Robinson and Thomas Jerome Robinson; two sisters Geraldine Washington Steele and Delia Farris; 19 Grandchildren and one Great-grandchild. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
