I have memories of Aunt Olga and Uncle Joe that go back to my childhood. I remember visiting them in the upstairs apartment in North Plainfield when Joe and Bob were still living there.
I also remember Aunt Olga, Aunt Izzy and my mother getting together in more recent times as the "last wives club".

My mother-in-law, Olga was a smart, wise and witty woman whom I admired very much. She once told me that all she she ever wanted to be was a mother and a grandmother. Add eight great-grandchildren to that wish and she more than achieved her goal. She was devoted to her family and loved to make us laugh. In fact, her whole life revolved around family, past and present, and she had many a good story to tell. Yes, she will be missed, but she is home now, with Joe, and I know she is happy once more. Bob and I and our children and grandchildren will keep her in our hearts forever.

I remember going to the diner with Aunt Olga, Aunt Mary and Grandma on Tuesday afternoons. We always had great conversations and laughs. They convinced me I didn't need to put sugar in my coffee and I've been off of it ever since. Rest peacefully Aunt Olga. Lots of Love, Denise

Bob, Paula, Joe and Mary Ann,
So sorry to learn of the death of your mother. My mother was so fond of her during the years that they shared a pew together at St. Joe's on Sun. mornings. She was so unhappy when your mother left NP, as she missed their weekly conversations. May your mother rest in peace. Who knows, they may have already found each other in heaven for their weekly get togethers!

My Aunt Olga, a favorite aunt of mine. I loved visiting her and playing with Duke. Aunt Olga always had funny stories to tell and she made me feel good when I was down. I remember when she and Uncle Joe took me to Washington, D.C. and the fun we had. I will truly cherish my fond memories of her and I know she now is at peace and is with Uncle Joe. My prayers go out to all her family.

Grandma,
You were a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother to all of us. My children really enjoyed spending time with you. Ryan has fond memories of playing with "Mommy's Grandma." Kristen and Allison have memories of doing your hair makeup, nails and singing silly songs with you. I got to know you very well since you lived with us since I was a teen. When mom and dad were busy or unavailable you were there for me.You will be missed. We know that you are in a much better place now. One fond memory I have of you is when Matthew was born on May 5th. Lester and I dropped off the other kids at mom and dad's prior to going to the hospital and since he was being born on the 5th we joked that he should have a suitable name such a Pablo. You misheard and the next day you said something like this. "I am really happy for Lorraine and Lester. I really like what they named their baby boy... BO" Matthew was called baby Bo for several months and everyone chuckled. I know that you are now in heaven with Pop-Pop. You will live on in our memories. Sadly Missed.

I always enjoyed seeing my Aunt Olga. She was funny, kind and never preached to me about anything I may or may not have done. She was a Good Lady and a joy. I will miss her as I have missed my Uncle Joe.
