Obituary of Veronica P. Carrar

Veronica P. Carrar, age 81, of Basking Ridge died on Monday, January 5, 2009 at Overlook Hospital in Summit after a short illness. Born in Plainfield, NJ she resided in Watchung, NJ most of her life and recently moved to Basking Ridge, NJ. Veronica attended the American School of Dental Nursing in Chicago, IL. She is a former member of the Watchung Garden Club and a member of the Franciscans St. Anthony Guild. She is survived by her sister, Gloria Buhot and brother, Leon H. Carrar Jr., her niece and godchild Debra A. Buhot, Robert L. Buhot, Tanya Carrar and Leon H. Carrar III. The funeral will be begin on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 8:15 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Joseph R.C. Church, North Plainfield. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
