Obituary of Lynn D. Kinahan

Lynn (Blazier) Kinahan, age 61, died on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. She was born in Newark and grew up in Hillside before residing in Green Brook in 1973.

Lynn worked for N.J. Transit in Dunellen and Somerville as a Ticket Agent for 12 years retiring in 2002, and she also worked in the Sales Department for Chubb Insurance from 1965 to 1976.

She greatly enjoyed reading, but mostly she loved traveling and spending time with her family.

Lynn is survived by her husband, John M. Kinahan; two sons, Scott and Cory Kinahan all from Green Brook; two daughters, Tracy Trivigno and her husband Sontino of Middlesex; and Kristin Kinahan of Green Brook and her boyfriend Franklin Calderon; two sisters, Shirley Blazier; Jean Voelker both from Florida; and two grandchildren, Jaedon Kinahan and Breeana Trivigno.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 18th, 2009,  at 2 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. Visitation will be on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Cremation will be private. Burial of cremated remains will be on Wednesday, January 21st, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.
