Obituary of Kathleen Crosby

Kathleen (Bermingham) Crosby, age 63, died on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. Born in Elizabeth and raised in Roselle, she had resided in North Plainfield for over 40 years. Kathleen was the Office Manager for Dr. Burke and Dr. Schisano in Millburn for 10 years prior to retiring 6 years ago. She was a Communicant of St. Joseph's R.C. Church and a member of the Republican Municipal Committee both in North Plainfield. Devoted to her family, she loved reading, jewelry beading, golf, crossword, suduko puzzles, salt water fishing and trips to Atlantic City. Surviving is her husband William F. Crosby, III; her sons, Robert Crosby of FL., Richard Crosby and his wife Kristine of Edison and Michael Crosby of NC; a daughter, Tara Beth Srager and her husband Mark of PA. and 6 grandchildren, Amanda, Brandon, Ryan, Genna, William and Caitlin. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 10th at 8:30 a.m. from Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Joseph's R.C. Church in North Plainfield. Entombment will be private. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the St. Barnabas Burn Center, 94 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039.
