Obituary of Sheila Davis

Plainfield: Sheila Coston Davis, age 43, died Sunday, February 8, 2009 at her home in Plainfield.Born in Plainfield, she was a lifelong resident.Before becoming disabled two years ago, Sheila worked as a Payroll Specialist at Paychex in Piscataway for five years.Extremely devoted to her family, she was a great cook who enjoyed trips to Atlantic City.Sheila is survived by her devoted husband, John M. Davis; her son, Javon Chancellor of Plainfield; four daughters, Jasmine Robinson of Easton, PA, Ashley Robinson of Plainfield, Shamer and Charmyne Moore both of Jersey City; four brothers, Michael Allen of South Carolina, Thomas Sullivan of Texas, Keith and Shawn Coston both of Plainfield; eight sisters, Margaret Pleasant of Plainfield, Diane Bolden of South Carolina, Sandra Brooks of Plainfield, Kathy Butts of North Plainfield, Lorraine Harris of Piscataway, Tracie Curry of North Carolina and the twins, Kara Sullivan-Gaddy and Kelly Sullivan both of Plainfield; her step-mother, Barbara Sullivan of Plainfield and two grandchildren, Tiyana Bails and Damari Blackwell.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 11:00 am at Rose of Sharon Community Church, 825 West Seventh Street, Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 7 - 9 pm at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West Eighth Street in Plainfield and on Friday from 10 - 11 am at the Rose of Sharon Community Church prior to the Service time. Cremation is private.
