It was our great privilege to have known "Judgie" for many years. With Judgie, what you saw is what you got. He was as real and as honest as anyone you're likely to meet in this life. His attitude towards life was almost child-like in its innocence and in his ability to see nothing but good in everyone and everything.
We send our condolences and prayers to Marie, Lillian, Mary Francis and John, and we selfishly ask prayers for all those whose lives will be forever diminished with Judgie's passing.

Dear Marie and family,it's hard to know where to start when it comes to Judgie. He lived his life the way God wants us all to live. Caring about everyone with compassion, love, laughs, family, friends, sports, and never complaining. His life was in order. I'm going to miss just being in his company. I say with great respect and humility, how proud I am to have been blessed just to know him and be among his many friends. I'll think of him often, especially when it's time to throw the macaroni in. GOD BLESS, Vinnie Jule.

Dear Marie,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Frank was a special person who always tried to do the right thing for people. At veteran's we always relived the joint sales call counting $2000 in small bills from a shoe box to fund an IRA.Enjoyed both your company when we worked together while Mike was branch manger in Somerville. Sincerely, Pat

Marie you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers during this time in your lives. I remember my Mom saying that the toughest part of her day was waking up and knowing that she had to sit up, put her feet on the floor and begin walking into the new day without her beloved spouse.
So because I loved her, and because we love you-I will say a prayer for you when I wake up each morning that you will be able to sit up, put your feet on the floor and walk into your new day. Love and prayers Marie!

Dear Judgie, I have so many great memories of all the years that we were friends. You had an incredible ability to make everyone that you touched feel special. I loved when you use to say " Tommy, its time to go home and throw in the macaroni". I can tell you that everytime I have macaroni I will always be thinking of your smiling face. I bet right about now, your telling a joke and "having a slice" with the big man.

Hi Frank,The world will miss you because there will never be another Francis "Judgie" Comune. You never cease to amaze me as we covered the the 2nd and 4th floors of the Somerset Medical Center as we brought the Holy Eucharis, along with a good word, hope and a prayer. What amazed me most was you knew so many people and by name along with knowing all of their family members and also their names. Brother you are one in a million. There can never and will never be a bad thought or word about you. You have left us with only the best of memories and you'll leave a hole in this world that can never be filled. There are thousands of people that aren't aware you helped them, but surely will know that their life is not the same with you gone. I choose to believe that you have gone before us to ensure your family and friends that they will have a good seat in heaven along with you. I also think your parents named you well, when they called you Frank, because it's in your nature to be Frank by name and Frank by nature.
Most people called you "Judgie" and I would refer to you as "Judgie", but always called you Frank. Frank, Please know that my family and I love you and will keep you in our prayers, because even though you won't need them you will surley give them to some poor soul in need. I'll talk to you often and hopefully be with you in Heaven. I now have someone else in Heaven to pray to. I send with you,all my love and prayers.
Love and God Bless,
Bro Joe

Frank was the most inspirational man I ever met. He ALWAYS had a kind word and a smile for us. I never would have dreamt of finding the most wonderful neighbors when we hit Rector Road 27 years ago. I know that Frank and Larry are hitting the course again just like Pebble Creek and Spy Glass. There will always be an eternal bond and light with our 2 guys in heaven. We all know the light will be bright for it is 2 wonderful friends holding it together over the kitchen table!! I will always treasure our friendship. God Bless you all as you begin a new journey in your lives. It won't be easy, for that I know. The void is huge but the wonderful memories will out weigh the pain. Please know that 4 hearts are heavy in Michigan for your loss. With all our love, Bernie, Lauren, Chelsea and Lexi

This is for you and your mom Lily, love from Katie.
You can shed tears that he is gone or you can smile because he has lived. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him only that he is gone or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what he'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. (Love Katie)

Golf and his great love of the game kept "Judgie" coming back every year to join our golf committee at the Center. On golf day, he and his friends were at their appointed spot on the fairway watching for that special golfer who would hit a "hole in one" that would and win a car. The Ken Daneyko Golf Outing was special to him because it was a benefit for the homeless pregnant women and their children who find help at the Center. Judgie always asked about how all the residents were doing, and listened patiently as we described how they were progressing. His enthusiasm and sweet, helpful manner endeared him to us all. His work with the Knights of Columbus was very instrumental in building a relationship between the Knights Councils and the Center. We will miss him terribly and to his family we send our thanks for sharing him with us all these years, and our prayers for his peaceful rest.

With the passing of Judgie, our family and our community loses a monumental link to our past. Judgie's approach to life and his love for people was a reflection of the values that he learned in the simpler days of his youth. Love for God and country. So simple yet made to seem so complicated in these times. I hope that I, along with my generation, can be as graceful as Judgie was in living those values and being examples to our families, friends and communities.

My uncle Frank was dear to me and I have such fond memories of growing up together as kids with all the aunts and uncles. I am thinking about the good ole days. He was always so gentle-hearted and positive :) I remember how in the 70’s all the cousins LOVED the Yankees because of Uncle’s Frank’s enthusiasm for them. As an adult, his genuine spirituality has inspired me and has served as an example to follow on my spiritual journey.
