Obituary of S. Jean Marea Mooney

S. Jean Marea (Borowski) Mooney, age 79, died on Sunday, February 22, 2009, at Runnells Specialized Hospital in Berkeley Heights. Born in Summit she resided in Berkeley Heights for 50 years. She was a member of the 3rd Order Carmolite of Convent Station. As member of Church of Little Flower and the Rosary Society, she made the banners for the alter for many years. Mrs. Mooney enjoyed going to the library and reading she was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family. Predeceased by her husband James Mooney and brother Raymond Borowski. Surviving are her children James Mooney of Berkeley Heights; Linda Greck of Auburn, NY; Donna Harrison of CO.; Leora Broche of Berkeley Heights; Rose Mooney of CO. and Nancy Brooker of CO.; her brothers Robert Borowski, Walter Borowski and John Borowski; her sister Helen Voss; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was lovingly cared for by the staff of Runnells Hospital for several years. Funeral services will be held at 9:15 am on Saturday February 28, 2008 at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at Church of the Little Flower, 110 Roosevelt Ave. Berkeley Heights, NJ. Visitation will be on Friday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery
