Obituary of Dorothy A. Polunas

Dorothy A. Polunas, age 63, died on Monday, March 2, 2009 at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown. Dorothy was born in Plainfield, raised in South Plainfield and had lived in Bridgewater before residing in Warren 16 years ago. She graduated from South Plainfield High School in 1963. Dorothy worked for The Learning Gate in Finderne, working with infants and toddlers. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Somerset. Dorothy enjoyed gardening in her spare time. Dorothy is survived by her son, Michael P. Polunas and her daughter, Marianne A. Polunas. She is also survived by her grand-dogs, Marley and Skipper. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 10:30 a.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
