Obituary of Doris June Hecht

Green Brook: Doris J. (Pashin) Hecht, 91, died Monday, March 16, 2009 at Somerset Medical Center. Born in Plainfield, she was a longtime resident of North Plainfield before moving to Green Brook three years ago. Doris had been a sales clerk for the Strand, D&D and Wonder Store all on Front Street in Plainfield. Her parents, Jacob and Fannie Pashin, husband, Earl Hecht, brother, Harold Pashin and sister, Lillian Pashin all predeceased her. She is survived by her daughter, Toby Hecht of Dunellen. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11 am at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West Eighth Street, Plainfield followed by interment at Hebrew Cemetery in South Plainfield.
