He was a natural athlete and intellectually provocative. Last September, he moved to Garwood after 45 years as a Plainfield resident. He is survived by his wife, Rita Blau Goldstein; his son Jeffrey Goldstein and his wife Lorraine Kolibas of Summit; his daughter, Donna Perch and her husband Murray of Westfield; his daughter, Joyce Goldstein and her husband, David Pincus of Shaker Heights, Ohio; six grandchildren (Rebecca, Sarah, Marissa, Gabe, Mike and Kayla); his brother, Harry Goldstein of Queens, NY.
