Obituary of Ruby Lee Gresham

Ruby Lee Bailey GreshamPlainfield: Ruby Lee Bailey Gresham, age 56, died suddenly at her home in Plainfield, NJ on April 16, 2009. Ruby was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Plainfield, NJ. She graduated from Plainfield High School in 1971. She attended DeVry Institute in New Brunswick receiving a BA degree in 1992 as an Electronic Technician. She also attended Union County College in Cranford receiving a BS degree in 1997 also as an Electronic Technician. Ruby is predeceased by her parents, Frank Bailey Sr. and Viola Cox Bailey; her 2 brothers, Collam Cox and Frank Bailey Jr.Ruby is survived by her husband, James E. Gresham Jr.; her son, James E. Gresham III and his fiance, Natasha T. Kelly; her daughter, Chneeta T. Gresham; 4 grandchildren, Jaynisa, James IV, Jay and Jayvian Gresham; 5 brothers, Jeffrey Bailey, Michael Bailey, Bryan Bailey, Allen Bailey (Najiyyah) and Richard Fowler of Alabama; 5 sisters, Doris Beverly (Theodore); Sarah Wilkins (Floyd) of North Carolina, Laheart Taylor (Donald), Lillie Bailey, Linda Johnson, and a host of relatives and friends.The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Calvary Baptist Church, 324 Monroe Avenue, Plainfield, NJ. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the church. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ.
