Coula DrubulisLoving Mother, Grandmother & SisterWarren: Coula Drubulis (nee Cappas), died on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at her home in Warren with her family by her side.Coula was born in Minneapolis, MN to the late Andrew Cappas and Angelike Kambile. She lived in Madison, WI and Green Brook before residing in Warren in 2005. Coula worked for Sumitomo/Chubb Insurance in Warren as an Administrative Assistant retiring in 1995. She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway. She was an active member of the Warrenbrook Senior Center. As the lead of the Center's knitting and crocheting club, Coula helped children who were living in disaster areas by providing them with blankets, lovingly made by the club. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, but most of all she loved spending time with her 8 grandchildren.Coula is predeceased by her husband, Dr. Arge Drubulis.Coula is survived by her son, Thomas Drubulis and his wife MaryBeth of Fanwood; two daughters, Katherine Bennett and her husband Jeffrey of Bethlehem, PA; Andrea Shuster and her husband Gary of Plantsville, CT; one brother, Ted Cappas and his wife Adrienne of Madison, WI; two sisters, Cynthia Fokakis of Madison, WI; Mary Zazas and her husband Chris of San Diego, CA; also 8 grandchildren, Ashley and Kyle Bennett, Nichole, Andrew and Melissa Shuster and Caroline, Thomas and Matthew Drubulis.The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 20th at 9 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung followed by a 11 a.m. Funeral Service at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 250 Gallows Hill Road, Westfield. Interment will be in Bound Brook Cemetery, Bound Brook.
