Obituary of Willie Elreece Hedrick

Willie Elreece Hedrick, age 70, died on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at The Woodlands - Genesis Eldercare in Plainfield.Willie was born and raised in North Carolina to the late Joseph Hedrick and Sarah Gilmore. In 1962 he moved to Plainfield and has resided there for the last 47 years.Willie worked for the Plainfield Board of Education in their Maintenance Department, and he was also a barber in Plainfield for over 30 years.Willie is predeceased by his brother, George Hedrick.He is survived by his wife, Rosa Siler Hedrick; his daughter, Rosonda Hedrick; two sisters, Omega Burns and Valeria Wallace.The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30th at 11 a.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield. The visitation will be prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Cremation is private.
