Obituary of Shirley A. Jones

Plainfield: Shirley A. Jones. 61, died suddenly on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Somerset Medical Center.Born in Alexandria, VA, she resided in Hickory, NC and Washington, DC before moving to Plainfield in 1968.Shirley was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and has been a dedicated servant for almost 50 years. She was known to be a flower enthusiast and horticulturist.She was predeceased by her parents Shuford and Sarah J. Hull.Surviving are her husband, Emerson L. Jones; three daughters, Andrea Jones of TN, Marcenia (Eric) Rhem of NY and Linnea (Antwaun) Cox of NJ and three brothers, Robert (Patricia) Hull; Allen Hull, both of MD and Alfred (Ginger) Hull of AZ.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 11 at 1:00 pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1324 Woodland Ave., Plainfield. Visitation will be on Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West Eighth Street, Plainfield.
