Obituary of Henrietta Regina Tutko

Monroe: Henrietta Tutko, age 97, died on Thursday, August 06, 2009 at her home in Monroe Township.Henrietta was born in Schenectady, NY and moved to Yonkers, NY after her marriage in 1934. In 1982, she moved to the Rossmoor Adult Community in Monroe Township, NJ. She lived at Monroe Village from 2005 until her death.Henrietta was an Executive Secretary for Stauffer Chemical Company in Ardsley, NY for 16 years retiring in 1978. She was a Communicant of the Nativity of Our Lord R.C. Church in Monroe Township. Henrietta was predeceased by her husband, Michael Tutko in 1979. She is survived by her son, Donald Tutko and his wife Doris of Wilmington, DE; her daughter, Barbara Fuller and her husband Gordon of Plainfield; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.The funeral will be held on Monday, August 10 at 8:15 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at Nativity of Our Lord R.C. Church in Monroe Township. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings-On-Hudson, NY. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Building Fund, Nativity of Our Lord Church, 185 Applegarth Road, Monroe, NJ 08831.
