Obituary of Josephine Talty

Josephine M. (Coen) Talty, age 75, died on Saturday, August 22, 2009. Born in Cross, County Mayo, Ireland she had resided in the Bronx before moving to North Plainfield thirty-six years ago. Prior to retiring Mrs. Talty was a Receptionist for Valley National Bank in Green Brook. A Communicant of St. Joseph's Church in North Plainfield, she was also a member of the Rosary Society at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church in Watchung. Josephine was a volunteer at both Muhlenberg and Overlook Hospitals since 2000. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Talty in 2000. Surviving is her daughter Mary Langan and her husband Michael of Ireland; her brothers Patrick and Seamus of Ireland; sister Nuala Ryan and her husband Michael of Ireland; grandchildren Michael and Claire Langan of Ireland; The Finnegan Family and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26th , from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung. A Funeral Mass and burial will be private.
