Obituary of Constantine Bouboulis

Constantine Gus Bouboulis, age 81, died on September 20, 2009. Born and raised in Piraeus, Greece he had resided in Union for forty years before moving to Annandale four years ago. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Athens, his Masters Degree from Columbia University and his PhD. in Organic Chemistry from Colorado University in Boulder. He was a Research Chemist with Exxon in Linden for twenty five years before his retirement. Constantine held numerous patents and co-authored several scientific publications. He was an artist and recently wrote his autobiography titled I was a Child Spy and a work of fiction soon to be published. He was written in Whos Who in the East in the Science and Engineering section. He was President of Chem. Comp Systems, Inc, which was created by he and his late wife, Deborah Graham Bouboulis. Surviving are his three children, Dora Bouboulis, Tina Bouboulis Walter and her husband Rick and their 2 children, Cameron and Evan and Joseph Bouboulis and his wife, Cheryl. A Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 7th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stonehouse at Stirling Ridge, South Stirling Road in Warren followed by a brunch for all family and friends at the restaurant (www.stonehouseatstirlingridge.com). In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: The American Heart Association or to The Greek Antiquities Dept. at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ.
