Obituary of Jeffrey M. Steinberg

Jeffrey M. Steinberg, age 53, died on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. He was born in Newark and had lived in Hillside and Springfield before moving to Basking Ridge 23 years ago. Mr. Steinberg received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Boston University in 1984, his Master's Degree in Finance from Farleigh Dickinson University in 1987 and his J.D from N.Y.U. Law School He was a member of the NJ and NY State Bar Associations. He was in private practice for over 24 years. Mr. Steinberg was the Board President at Society Hill at Bernards. He loved the Yankees and summer traveling. He was an outgoing person who will be missed by many. Mr. Steinberg is survived by his wife of 26 years, Melanie (Grabowski) Steinberg; his son, Jonathan Steinberg of Basking Ridge; his parents, Marvin and Barbara Steinberg; his brother, Lance Steinberg and his wife, Mary Jane; his sisters, Heidi Arzt and her husband, Noam and Jacquelyn Gold and her husband Eric; his nephews, Jeremy and Jesse; his nieces, Marissa and Leah and his mother-in-law, Irene Grabowski and his father-in-law, John Grabowski. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, John Grabowski, Keith Grabowski and his wife, Beth and nephews, Justin and Tyler and his niece, Nicole. Funerals services will be held on Thursday, September 24th at 11:30 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung followed by interment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Morristown Memorial Hospital, 100 Madison Ave. Morristown, NJ 07962 or to the Liberty Corner Rescue Squad, P.O.
