Kim made every class and rehearsal a little more fun. She wrote her junior research paper on Beatrix Potter's children's stories; so, I find consolation in a passage from Potter's journals that reminds me of Kim's outlook: "Believe there is a great power silently working all things for good, behave yourself and never mind the rest."

I was in Musical with Kim since fresman year. She was always there to provide support and advice when I was stressed. She was always happy and made a great impression on me. I knew that if I needed cheering up she was the one to do it. I loved her very much and always will. She was a wonderful friend.
Much Love,
Kristy Accetta and Family

Scott and Nancy:
Though I never got to meet this beautiful girl of yours, I do remember the day that Scott came into the Howard, shouting "Its a Girl". How proud, both of you must be of your beloved child. My prayers and thoughts are with both of you, and may God confort you in this time, as your little angel is truly an "Angel" now.
Sincerely,
Mr.& Mrs. Frank Uzzolina

Kim was a true shining light here at BRHS. Even though I hadn't seen her much since her freshman year, I know she was loved by many and she shone her light to many.
This little light of mine
I'm gonna let it shine
Kim, although we on earth are sad, your light shines in heaven with Jesus. He will take care of your family and sustain them, and your light will always shine in their dark times as well as their bright ones.
Love,
Mrs. Cahill

Kim and my son, Evan, shared a common voice teacher in Nathan Brewer at LCPC. I recall with great pleasure Kim singing "The River is Wide" at Nathan's June 2009 recital for his students. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Nelson family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Cheryl Keefe, Bernardsville, NJ

Nancy and Scott,
You have been and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. It was a pleasure to watch Kim grow into a beautiful young woman - inside and out. You two did good! And while our hearts are all breaking, Kim is up there singing with Jesus using that glorious voice she was blessed with!
All our love,
Karie, Greg, Amanda, Jordan and Lisa
