Manfred H. DalhausserPublic AccountantWarren: Manfred "Manny" H. Dalhausser, age 68, died on Friday, October 2, 2009 at his home.Manfred was born in Elizabeth to the late Max Dalhausser and Frieda Ummenhofer. He lived in Roselle Park before moving to Warren 5 years ago.Manfred graduated from Union High School and then attended Seton Hall University obtaining his Bachelors Degree in Accounting. At Seton Hall, he was a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity, was a member of Who's Who in American Universities and Colleges and was a four year varsity soccer player. He played, coached and refereed soccer his entire life. As a youth, he was a member of the Elizabeth Sports Club and is presently a member of the Union County Sports Club, both soccer clubs of Farcher's Grove in Union.Manfred was sole proprietor Accountant for M. Dalhausser & Associates on Chestnut Street in Union with a loyal client base which he started 40 years ago.Manfred is survived by his wife, Erin (O'Connor) Dalhausser of Warren; his two sons, Michael Dalhausser and his wife Maria of Mountain Lakes; Todd Dalhausser and his wife Margaret of Natick, MA; three daughters, Heidi DiDonna and her husband Mark of Millington; Heather Hurd of Westfield and Meghan Hurd of Warren; one brother, Robert W. Dalhausser and his wife Walburga of Ft. Worth, TX; nephew Dirk Dalhausser of Dallas, TX; niece Diana Dalhausser of Atlanta, GA and eight grandchildren.The funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 6th at 9 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung with a 10 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Mary Stony Hill R.C. Church, Watchung. Interment will be at St. Mary Stony Hill Cemetery, Watchung. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10065 or the Center for Hope Hospice, 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ. 07076.
