Obituary of Patricia S. Tomaso

Patricia S. Tomaso, age 77, died on Monday, October 12, 2009, at the Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine. Mrs. Tomaso grew up in Plainfield, and lived in Warren Township for 33 years.She was an avid crossword enthusiast and birdwatcher, enjoyed gardening and nature and loved rehabilitating old homes. She was a dedicated Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother who loved talking and interacting with all people.Predeceased by her husband Angelo L. Tomaso in 1992, daughter Jennifer Tomaso in 2007, and her parents.Surviving is her daughter Jessica S. T. Gower and her husband William of Maine; her son Matthew Tomaso and his wife Jen Steuber of Cedar Grove; sister Corinne Coury; grandchildren Emily and Katie Gower; great-grandchild Julia Corey; niece Pam Tice and her husband Bobby; brother in law Michael Tomaso and many good friends too numerous to mention.The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Interment is at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
