Obituary of Ann T. Patty

Ann T. Patty, age 85, died on Friday, October 23, 2009 at HCR Manor Care in New Providence. She was born and raised in Plainfield and moved to Bridgewater. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Patty was an executive secretary for the Plainfield Board of Education for over 35 years. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Patty is predeceased by her husband, Edward P. Patty in 1979 and her son, Edward P.Patterson in 2003. Surviving are her son, Douglas E. Patterson of Bridgewater; her daughter, Barbara A. Engo of Gillette and her grandchildren, James Edward and Jennifer Christine Engo. Funeral services will begin on Friday, October 30th at 9:00 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
