Obituary of Ann T. Laskowski

Ann T. Laskowski, age 85, died on Sunday, October 25, 2009, at Norwood Terrace Health Center in Plainfield. Mrs. Laskowski was born and raised in Elizabeth, had lived in Rumson for 15 years before moving to Basking Ridge 2 years ago. Mrs. Laskowski was a former communicant of Blessed Sacrament RC Church in Elizabeth and Holy Cross RC Church in Rumson. Mrs. Laskowski worked as an office manager at Alexian Brother's Hospital in Elizabeth for over 20 years, retiring in 1986. Always helping others she volunteered at Alexian Brother's Hospital and Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. She was a member of the Rumson Seniors Citizens Club. Mrs. Laskowski also enjoyed traveling with her family. She is predeceased by her husband Edwin A. Laskowski in 1995; her sister Stella Wojton; and her brother Stanley Rogowski. Surviving are her daughters Mary Ann Schachter and her husband Jeffrey of Basking Ridge and Barbara Bodnar and her husband John of Rumson; four grandchildren Stephanie, Amiee, Scott, and Jonathan. A Memorial Mass will be on Wednesday, October 28th at 10:00 a.m. at St. James RC Church, 184 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge. Interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Linden. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Somerset County Park Commission - Therapeutic Recreation.
