I lived upstairs from Clare in Wyckoff for 10 years -- she was a great neighbor and friend. I had dislocated my knee 5 years ago and was home on disability for 10 weeks. She (at 87 years old) offered to buy me groceries. She was a comfort to have downstairs. I have not spoken to her in a few years since I moved but will always remember her fondly.
