Dear Bob and Karen,
We were so moved by your Mother’s memorial that we felt that we should express this to you.
Fran and I never went to an open casket memorial. Initially I felt awkward about walking over to see your Mom, but then observed that she truly seemed to be resting in peace. I then asked Fran to join me. We looked at the flowers and became more involved in looking at the photographs which offered some insight into the life of Francis Marino, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
We know how you devoted yourself to her when she needed you most; the period when more than anything, she needed your love and attention. We both left that evening feeling that her passing was treated with the deepest warmth and respect; that which only a loving family could provide. It was a wonderful way to bring about closure for her family and friends.
We want to thank you for offering us the opportunity to have participated in this wonderful memorial and to be with you when you needed your closest friends and family by your side.
Fred and Fran

Dear Bob, Karen, Ken and Emily,
Our deepest condolences to all of you on the loss of your Mother and Grandmother. What a beautiful lady! Despite the fact that you had her for a long time, it's never enough for the love of a mother. Feel comforted by the fact that she is at peace in heaven. Remember all the joy that she brought into your lives. She truly touched my heart with her captivating personality! May our Lord continue to Bless you all.
Love,

I firmly believe that Mom thoroughly enjoyed Bob's concert last Wednesday as much as he enjoyed singing for her!
