Obituary of Sr. Mary Donlin, RSM

Sister Mary Donlin (former Sister Mary Reparata) Sister Mary Donlin, Sister of Mercy (former Sister Mary Reparata) Sister Mary, 86, died peacefully on January 3, 2010 at McAuley Hall Health Care Center, Watchung, NJ. Sister was born and raised in South Amboy, NJ and entered the Sisters of Mercy in 1941. She received a BA degree in Social Studies from Georgian Court College, Lakewood, NJ and a MA degree in US History from Villanova University. Through the years, she ministered within the Dioceses of Trenton, Camden and Metuchen. She taught at Cathedral Elementary and High School, Trenton, Phillipsburg Catholic HS in Phillipsburg and Notre Dame HS, Lawrenceville. Sister Mary also worked as a secretary in St. Joseph School, Bound Brook and St. Francis Medical Center Clinic in Trenton and was Ass't Coordinator of the Senior Citizen Program in the Trenton Diocese. She moved to McAuley Hall in 2005 where she continued her ministry of prayer. She is survived by many Sisters of Mercy in the Mid-Atlantic Community. Visitation will take place at McAuley Hall Health Care Center on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 from 10:00 - 11:00 am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 11:00am.
