In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

To all the D'Armientos,
Although your Husband, Father & Grandfather is no longer with you, his legacy is. It is what shaped each one of you and made you the person you are today and will be for many days to come. Keep his ideas and morals alive with your memories of him. I'm sure his is very proud of all of you. May God bless Mr. D'Armiento and all of you.

Although we knew Basil and Lydia through the Boy Scouts organization, it wasn't until we retired in 2003 that we got to know them much better. Basil was a good friend, wonderful colleague and a Class A Scouter. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lydia and the family.

We were so sorry to hear about Uncle Bill's passing. He was a wonderful man, a kind heated soul and a loving family man. We always enjoyed seeing him and talking with him. Working with Basil, as a Scouting professional, over the many years in the Boy Scouts of America let me see him as a true professional in all he had done. I lost track of him for many years while I was out on Long Term Disability, but I was able to get in contact with him 2 years ago when I retired from the BSA and saw him at our reunion in Philadelphia. Then in Ocean City I had a chance to work again with he and Lydia at last years reunion. I was added to the steering committee for the 2010 reunion and will miss working with him in the future.
