Obituary of Adair Moleta

Adair Moleta, age 102, made her transition on June 30, 2013, at Greenbrook Manor, Green Brook. She was born in Guttenberg, NJ on February 10, 1911 and lived in Dumont, NJ for 50 years before moving to North Plainfield 16 years ago. She commuted and worked in New York City in the garment center as a pattern maker until her retirement at age 80. She skillfully worked for many upscale fashion houses such as Leonardo Narducci, Diane Dickerson and Carolyn Roeme. Adair was full of life and love up to the day she made her transition. She is best known for her vibrant health due to a true belief in vitamins and exercise based on yoga principles. She walked so fast at age 80 that younger people were unable to keep up with her. She enjoyed traveling all over the world and was always happy and young at heart. Her two children, daughter Yvette Halpin and son Ronald Balsamo will always remember her enthusiasm and great love of life. She leaves 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. There will be a celebration of life service honoring her beautiful soul and life on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson Memorial Church in Watchung.
