I just learned of Joe's death and wish to extend m condolences to his wife, Virginia, and the family. Joe and I worked together almost the entire time he worked for the Blues, he as the attorney for the company and me as the Chief Steward for the Union. In the last years, Joe and I became very close and I tried to call him at least once a month. When we last spoke he told me that he was not doing well, was short of breath but refused to get off the phone. I could tell that he was not well but did not realize that this would be our last telephone conversation. Joe was a good guy and dear friend and I will miss him dearly.

My condolences to the family. I worked closely with Joe at Horizon. I got the call this morning, Monday, about his passing. Joe was always a smile or a joke away. I would go into his office monthly to get his report, and he would just give me that smile, which was interpreted as "you know I don't have anything to report". He will be missed.

To the Pelizzoni Family, I offer these words in the spirit of love for my neighbors, encouragement and hope. When the enemy death strikes, your grief can be great, but let not your sorrow be unrelenting but place your confidence in the resurrection hope (John 5:28-29). Draw close to God in prayer, and the Bible promises that "he himself will sustain you." Psalm 55:22. The Bible can be read or listened to online at www.jw.org.

My sincere condolences to the family of Joe P. Joe was a great attorney and a wonderful man. He always had a bright smile, a quick and sometimes sarcastic witt, but most of all a kind and gentle heart....caring deeply for family and friends. May he rest peacefully.

I grew up with Skeeter in N.P. and remember him as part of a group of kids sleigh riding and ice skating in Green Brook Park when we were in Jr. H. S. How young he is to be called home by the Lord. May God's grace give those who love Skeeter grace and comfort in their sorrow.

Dear Ginny, Ricky and friends. I have been out of town most of the past month, but celeste has advised me of the recent losses of two special people in the Pelizoni family. Since I just got back into town from a remote area of Alaska, it appears email is the best way to reach you all by Monday. Please know that we are sad to hear of your losses and know that losing two in such a short time must be especially painful. We are with you in spirit as you honor Joe and Skeeter.

Dear Ginny, I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear husband, Joe. I remember so well our days in Newark when you (who were the best boss I ever had), Mary Ann, Ellen and I were at Mutual Benefit Life, and Joe was across Washington Park in the then Blue Cross / Blue Shield headquarters. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Barbara Davey

Joe and I along with Jim Flynn and Dick Hare rode the train together for 3 years when we were in law school and I remember the study sessions when we were preparing for the bar exam. If my memory is intact I remember attending Ginny and Joe's wedding at Kirkpatrick Chapel on the Rutgers campus. I was very sorry to learn of Joe's passing
