Obituary of Joseph Charles Braun

Joseph Charles Braun, age 39, died on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at his home in Trenton. He was born in Elizabeth and had lived in Watchung for most of his life before moving to Trenton 7 years ago. He graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School in 1989. In previous years, he worked for Lighting Efficiency Masters in Edison and belonged to the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Joseph was a kind young man with a big heart and was always willing to help anyone. Joseph loved all animals especially his dog Jack. He is predeceased by his father, Richard Braun in 2003. Joseph is survived by his mother, Dorothy Wackar Braun; his fiance, Valerie Bragg; his siblings, Kimberly Allen and her husband, Don, Richard Braun and Jennifer Braun;his grandmother, Dorothy Wackar; his "Aunt" Lisa Farkas and his nephews and niece, Donny, Trevor and Kate. Funeral services will begin on Monday, March 8th at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church. Cremation is private. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9.
