Obituary of Adam Ian Sackett

Adam Ian Sackett, age 35, died on Wednesday March 10, 2010 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, grew up in Staten Island and had lived in New York City before moving to Warren 4 years ago. Mr. Sackett received his Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Ithaca College. He had been a Hedge Fund Trader since 1996, working for Zweig-DiMenna, then Kynikos and Thirdpoint for the past several years. He loved spending time with his children and his family. He was passionate about his work and through his career developed many friendships with his colleagues. He is survived by his wife, Stacy Dellanno Sackett; his children, Carly and Ryan; his parents, Jerry and Sara Sackett; his brother, Robert and his wife Alison and their children, Emily, Julia, Josh and Jordan; his in-laws, Anthony and Joan Dellanno; his sister-in-law, Robyn Ivey and her husband Anthony and their daughter Madelyn; sister-in-law Lori Dellanno. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., followed by entombment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park. Visitation was held on Thursday, March 11th from 5 to 9 pm.
