Obituary of Marilyn H. Kimmel

Marilyn H. Kimmel Warren: Marilyn Kimmel, age 75, died on Friday, March 19, 2010 at her home in Warren. She was born and raised in Newark and was a graduate of Weequahic High School. Mrs. Kimmel moved to Summit after getting married to her husband, Ira. She then moved to Warren in 1963 where she has resided for the past 47 years. Marilyn was employed by Chubb and Sons Insurance for 15 years, retiring in 1998. She was a longtime member of Springdale United Methodist Church in Warren. Marilyn loved to cook for her family, watch movies and spend time with her loving grandchildren. Mrs. Kimmel is predeceased by her Husband, Ira, in 1991. She is survived by her son, Kevin and his wife Carol of Bridgewater; her daughter Ellen of Warren; her two grandchildren, Corey and Natalie along with many family and friends. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung. Interment will follow at Springdale United Methodist Church Cemetery in Warren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 23 from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Warren Township Rescue Squad, 6 Bardy Road, Warren, NJ 07059.
