Obituary of Madeline W. Russo

On Saturday, April 10, 2010, Madeline Amico Russo, at the age of 91, died at McAuley Hall Health Care Center in Watchung. She was the daughter of Anna and Walter Welsh. Her sister, Mildred and brother, Walter predeceased her. She was married to Gaetano Thomas Amico and Peter Russo, both of whom predeceased her. Madeline is the mother of Sister Lee Ann Amico, RSM of Watchung and sister-in-law to Lorene M. Welsh of Hamilton, NJ. She leaves nephews and nieces along with grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces to mourn her. Madeline was retired from the NJ Department of Employment Security. Her last position was that of manager of the Employment Office in Burlington, NJ. She was a former parishioner of both Saint Francis and Saint James Parish in Trenton, NJ. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 from 9 am until 10:30 am with the Mass of Resurrection at 10:30 am. at McAuley Hall Health Care Center, 1633 US Highway 22, Watchung. Burial will be at Ewing Cemetery in Trenton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, it was her request to make a donation to McAuley School Building Fund, 1633 US Highway 22, Watchung, NJ.
