Obituary of Nancy Jane Drum

Nancy Jane (Weigel) Drum, age 76, died on Thursday, April 29th, 2010 at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains surrounded by her family. Born in Elizabeth, she had resided there until 1975 when she moved to Scotch Plains. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary R. C. Church in Scotch Plains. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband T. Douglas Drum in 2001, as well as her son James Drum in 2000. Surviving are her three sons Thomas, Michael and Daniel; her daughter Mary T. (Teri) Crawford; three brothers John (Jack) Weigel, Robert Weigel and Raymond Weigel; eight grandchildren Jarret, Ryan, Breanne, Erin, Marissa, Aileen, Sarah and Grace; three great-grandchildren James, Charles and Madelyn. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 1st at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C. Church, Scotch Plains followed by interment at St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia. Funeral services are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield, NJ. Donations may be made for Center for Hope Hospice 1900 Raritan Rd. Scotch Plains NJ.
