Obituary of Rose S. Mondok

Rose S. Mondok, born in 1923 passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. She was born in Manhattan, NY and had lived in Bridgewater since 1965. Mrs. Mondok was a Communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother. She is predeceased by her son, Steven Mondok in 1963 and her brothers, Joseph Serio and John Serio. Mrs. Mondok is survived by her husband of 59 years, Anthony Mondok; her sons, Michael Mondok and his wife, Laura of Long Valley and Paul Mondok and his significant other, Laura Dereza-Santos and her grandchildren, Christopher and Michelle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 13th at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1890 Washington Valley Road, Martinsville, NJ 08836. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142. Arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals, Watchung.
