Obituary of James Sloyan
James "Jim" Perree Sloyan, 51, died on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at his home in Charlton, Mass.
Born in Plainfield, NJ, Jim graduated from North Plainfield High School in 1977.
For many years, Jim worked at Garden State Business Machines in Springfield, NJ. In 2002 Jim moved to Massachusetts to work with his brother, John, at Reliable Fire Protection.
Jim's parents, Monica Perree Sloyan and John Joseph Sloyan Jr. predeceased him.
Surviving are his brother, John and his wife, Maureen, of Charlton, Mass; his sisters, Eileen Sloyan and her husband Bill Howard of Annandale, Va, and Claire M. Sloyan of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; and his nieces and nephews, Monica, Jack, Megan, Katherine, and Patrick. He is also survived by his aunts, Marie Adam and Anne Getz and her husband, Larry Getz, all of Piscataway, NJ, and M. Frances Perree of Springfield, Va.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, May 14, from 6-8 p.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung. Burial will be held on Saturday May 15 at 11:00 a.m at St. Mary's Cemetery, Plainfield.
