Obituary of Brian Eugene King

Brian Eugene King, age 39, died suddenly on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at his home in New Brunswick New Jersey. Brian was born in Plainfield New Jersey in 1970. He resided in Piscataway, then the Somerset section of Franklin before moving to New Brunswick in 2005. Brian was a graduate of Piscataway High School in 1988. He honorably served in the U.S. Marine corps in his younger years before perusing other interests. He received a certificate of Phlebotomy from the Ellen Schwartz School of Medical & Technical Careers. He also attended Middlesex County College in Edison. In addition he attended the Iron Workers Apprentice program of Springfield New Jersey. Brian worked as an Apprentice Iron Worker for a time before becoming a Trailer mechanic during the years that followed. Brian is survived by his parents Eugene King and Bernice Hayden King of Piscataway, his eldest brother Eric Eugene King of Union; his maternal grandmother Theodora Hayden of Plainfield; Aunts and Uncles. Charlotte Pierre of Plainfield; Marilyn Auten of Burlington; Bernard and Darryl Hayden of Plainfield; Mildred and Jessie Scott of Roselle, Gladys "Pat" and George Powell of Somerville, Dwayne King of Raritan; as well as a host of cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm followed by a 1:00 pm Funeral Service at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West Eighth Street, Plainfield and interment at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains.
