Obituary of Eileen Muriel Zocchi

Eileen Muriel (Bedford) Zocchi, age 86, died on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Delaware Hospice in Milford, DE. Born and raised in England she married her husband Michael Zocchi, whom she met while he was stationed in England during WWII. They then came to the United States in 1944, residing in Elizabeth and Basking Ridge before moving to Rehoboth Beach, DE. Eileen loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving is her loving husband of sixty-seven years Michael W. Zocchi; son Peter Zocchi and his wife Susan; daughter Susan Scaglione and her husband Dominick; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 26th, 2010 from 9-10 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. A graveside service will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.
