Obituary of Emma Catalan

North Plainfield: Emma Catalan, age 45, died on Friday, June 25, 2010 at her mother's home in North Plainfield. Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, she moved to North Plainfield in 1982. Emma was a dental assistant for Landmark Dental Group for 22 years. Emma loved spending time with her family and also loved to travel. Her favorite place to visit was Disney World. She is survived by her children; Benjamin Parra III, Ryan and Nicole Bedoya, all of North Plainfield; her parents, Juan Jose Catalan of Georgia and Carolina Vera of North Plainfield; her brothers, Juan Antonio Catalan of Florida and Byron Catalan of North Plainfield and Gabrial and Niky Catalan; her sisters, Mirna Sanchez and Vivian Torres both of Middlesex, and Julissa Rodriguez of North Plainfield; her grandmothers, Maria and Rosa Ramirez; uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and many, many friends. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 9:00 am at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Resurrection at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, North Plainfield. Cremation will take place at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Sunday and Monday from 7-9 p.m. only.
