Obituary of Julius Rossi

Julius Rossi 89 of Long Branch died on July 15, 2010 Julius Rossi was one of nine children born to Antonio and Angelina Rossi of San Lupo, Italy. He was born in Newark, NJ, later moving to Hillside, NJ. Mr. Rossi was the head of the advertising department for the Foodtown Corporation where he applied his talents as a graphic artist, before retiring to Long Branch, NJ. He is predeceased by the love of his life for 66 years, Selma Schechter Rossi, and son, Douglas. He is survived by two sons, Jules Rossi of Long Branch, NJ and Dennis Rossi of Malibu, CA; two sisters, Lucille Tulimiero of Nutley, NJ and Ursulena Marano of Pittsfield, MA; two brother-in-laws, Ado Castelluccio and Leon Pollak, both in NJ. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 18th at 11:00 a.m. at the Hebrew Cemetery on New Market Rd, South Plainfield, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals, Plainfield, NJ.
