Obituary of Adamondo Panella

Watchung: Adamondo "Sonny" Panella, age 76, died on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at his home in Watchung. Mr. Panella was born and raised in Plainfield, lived in Green Brook for ten years, and for the past 34 years had resided in Watchung. Mr. Panella was a self-employed contractor. He was a member of the NJ Builders Association. He was a former communicant of St. Bernard's RC Church in Plainfield. Mr. Panella enjoyed hunting, which he did all across the United States. He is predeceased by his eight siblings; Joe, John, Patrick, Frank, Lillian, Frances, Carmella, and Antoinette. Mr. Panella is survived by his wife Zelda Panella; his children, Debra Panella, Geno Panella and his wife Yvette, Alan, and Mindy Wilinsky and her husband Michael; and eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Daniel, Jordan, Morgan, Adam, Christine, Jacob, and Tara. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 21, 2010 at 9:00am at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd Watchung, followed by a 10:00am Mass of the Resurrection at St. Bernard's RC Church in Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of NJ, 1600 Route 22 East, Union NJ 07083.
