Obituary of Margaret Kuntz

Margaret Kuntz, age 96, died on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Bayonne Medical Center in Bayonne. She was born and raised in Jersey City and was a long time North Plainfield resident. She was a graduate of All Saints School and All Saints Commercial High School. She worked in the office of Western Electric. Margaret played the piano, loved dancing, gardening and Italian cooking. She was an active member of the North Plainfield Seniors and a communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in North Plainfield. Margaret is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Kuntz in 1978. Surviving are her brother, George Macchia; her sisters, Ann Coons and Josephine Macchia; her nieces and nephews, Joanna Coons Kosloff, Dr. Lorraine Coons, Patrick Fittipaldi, Annabelle Bittone, Barbara Di Venuto, Margie Corby, Louise Krywinski, George Sierchio, Louise Macchia, Walter Macchia, Dr. Robert Macchia and Dr. Richard Macchia. Funeral services will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 24th at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th St., Plainfield followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Joseph's RC Church in North Plainfield. Interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
